刘志丹（1903年10月4日－1936年4月14日），中国工农红军将领，陕北苏区创建人之一。陕西保安（今志丹县）人。原名刘景桂。1922年考入陕北联合县立榆林中学，曾当选为榆林中学学生自治会会长。加入旅京陕西学生进步组织“共进社”。1924年秋加入中国社会主义青年团，1925年加入中国共产党。同年秋赴广州入黄埔军校第四期学习，毕业后随军参加讨伐陈炯明的战斗，国民革命军东征后奉命回西北入冯玉祥国民联军第四路军中工作，任该军党代表兼政治处长。
